Year 6

Maple Class have been learning about Fairtrade and were able to immerse themselves in the concept of it last week. In groups, the children were given different resources in the aim to earn as much money as possible. They soon learnt that they would need to trade different items in order to achieve this. At the end of the experience, we discussed how this links to global trade and the fact that different countries have access to different resources and that trade is a vital necessity to share what we have with the world.
