Welcome to Saint Gabriel’s Church of England Primary School. Here we aspire for all children to become the very best version of themselves; carefully developing their Character, Academic Excellence and Metacognition through their time in our care.  

  

John 10:10 inspires us: ‘Life in all its fullness’ it is a philosophy that we want all our children to embrace at Saint Gabriel’s. Our school vision of ‘Communicating Strength; Inspiring our Community to Flourish’ guides us in creating engaging and purposeful learning experiences across our school. When children leave Saint Gabriel's, we want them to be well-rounded individuals who are successful, caring, healthy, curious and confident learners.  

  

Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of all children and to take advantage of our locality.  Learning experiences are enhanced by our high-quality facilities which allow children to develop practical skills that will support them though, and beyond, their time at school. Through the use of our innovative spaces, such as our Green Screen Studio, Podcast Studio, Art Studio, Blue Sky Café and Kitchen Garden, we deliberately design learning to be engaging and purposeful.  

  

Carefully designed opportunities to develop children’s experiences outside of the classroom supplement our learning inside school. Children are taught how to be mentors for our youngest children; we visit our local church to celebrate Harvest, Christmas and Easter; children have opportunities to develop their confidence with a wide range of different foods and cultures through our healthy eating curriculum; we support, and work closely with, local charities and foodbanks; and children have opportunities to explore our rich local history and heritage of our City and wider locality.
