I am joining St Gabriel’s this having gained my PGCE at Exeter University in 2024 and studying for a degree in History at Exeter before this. For the past year, I have been working in a variety of Essex schools across all years in both Key Stage 1 and 2. I grew up in Essex but first moved to Exeter in 2020, so I am very excited to be back in Devon.

My aim as a teacher is to create engaging and inspiring learning experiences that challenge students and help them reach their full potential. This is achieved by creating a calm and nurturing learning environment where children feel safe to explore and share their ideas. I want all children in my class to be enthusiastic and confident learners, as well as responsible and kind members of our school community.

Outside of school, I enjoy painting and crocheting, as well as spending time exploring the outdoors with my friends and family. I am also an avid reader and am keen to bring my love of books into the classroom and encourage more passionate readers to flourish.
