I am so pleased to be beginning another year in the Early Years, where I have been teaching for the past five years. This year, I'm especially looking forward to working more closely with our Preschool, helping to build even stronger links and create a seamless transition for children as they take their very first steps into school. I love seeing children grow from curious little learners into confident, independent individuals, and I'm passionate about making those first experiences of school happy, nurturing, and full of exciting opportunities.

My aim is to create a calm, welcoming classroom where every child feels happy, safe, and valued. I enjoy encouraging children to become resilient, creative, independent, and confident learners, helping each one to flourish and achieve their very best.

Away from the classroom, I enjoy reading and have always loved dancing, which I grew up doing. Both have taught me the importance of imagination, expression, and joy—qualities I try to bring into our learning every day. It’s a privilege to support children as they begin their school journey, and I feel so lucky to share these special first steps with them.
