Oak Class have had a very exciting and busy week. We attended West Exe Multi-Skills Festival on Wednesday where the children tried lots of different sports activities from 'balloon volleyball' to 'hockey' to 'penalty shootout'. They had a wonderful time and were a real credit to the school in the way that they behaved and used their St Gabriel's Manners.

On Thursday we had the pleasure of visiting Paignton Zoo. The children learnt about what an endangered animal was and how the zoo works to try and protect species that are threatened. Our highlights were visiting the giraffes, ostrich and zebras. It was a fantastic trip which will now help us to write poems about animals as our next learning journey.
