Our school pupil leadership team, have sifted through a vast array of entries to name our school cafe. They have decided to name our new resource: Blue Sky Cafe.

We aim to promote healthy living through the learning of new skills and knowledge. Every pupil will have the opportunity to cook using raw and local ingredients to enable them to feed themselves and their family whilst improving their self-confidence, well-being, employability and enterprise skills. Furthermore, pupils will have the opportunity to grow and harvest produce themselves in the school garden. This project will allow pupils to develop key leadership skills we have been developing across the school this term: grit and integrity.

We are also working with Fare Share on this project, which ensures food that would otherwise be wasted is intercepted and redistributed.
